The Master of Games (Part One)

On the next planet he visited, the Little Prince encountered a pale hunchback. The hunchback sat on the floor of his house and stared into a box. Light shined from the box back at the man. His hands were wrapped around a smaller box, and the light from the larger box danced as he manipulated the smaller one.

“Hello,” said the Little Prince. “What are you doing?”

“I am the Master of Games,” the man said, never looking away from his box. “I know all the best games to play.”

“I love games!” the Little Prince exclaimed. “May I play too?”

“You have to wait your turn,” the hunchback muttered. “Besides, this game is much too complex for someone as little as you.”

    Ambitious turning doing the story in two languages. I was going to try the French version, but it’s much too early in the morning for that.

    I was slightly worried when I saw French for a second!

    Making it into a tribute to Saint-Exupery was a nice touch though.
