The Master of Games (Part Two)

by BARomero

“Then let us play outside,” the Little Prince said. “The sun is warm and the grass is soft.”

“I will get sunburn and hayfever if I go outside. It is much better to stay in here,” The Master of Games said. “Besides, games played outside are worthless. There are no secret codes or hidden levels or extra lives.”

“We can imagine those things and have an adventure,” the Little Prince said.

“Why imagine it when it has already been programmed into my games?” The Master of Games retorted. “No, I am quite happy here with my games.”

The Little Prince shook his head. “That is just silly,” he said. He began to feel claustrophobic in the hunchback’s house, so the Little Prince left the house and the planet forever.

Nice job with the satire of the video game addict. The hayfever was a nice touch, and I liked the Little Prince’s counter-argument about imagining the levels and extra lives.

    Great job!

It had the same sort of childish, straight-to-the point view of the Little Prince, and the addicted human just completes the whole thing.
