Cassie Marshall

by More Ways Than One

Her name was Cassie Marshall, the girl I once was. The one beaten down by what others thought of her. Each night another piece of her heart was ripped out. Whose only sanctuary was music, it made her feel equal to someone else. I guess that gave her strength, but this strength was only miniscule compared to the stomping feet.

The weakness to stand up was her largest flaw. Silent through the harshness made up by other people. The only hope was knowing she would escape sometime.

Sometime seemed like forever. Everyday, feeling ashamed and alone. The movement of feelings made her feel like she was a bomb waiting to ignite.

Her name is Cassie Marshall, and this is her story…

I see where you’re going, and it’s a nice story set up. Lots of little grammar things distracting from the whole though (Who’s = whose, and it’s a fragment. The whole second paragraph is hard to follow due to grammar issues). Hate to nit-pick, just trying to help as the thrust and power of the piece gets totally lost cause of this stuff. You can tell you have great stuff bouncing around in that head of yours…just needs some polishing in presentation.
