“Everything seems to point back to Vietnam. Something incredible happened, something so bad that it’s probably the root of all his mental problems.”

The doctor stood over the exVietnam soilder, and sadly shook his head.

“It is a tragedy. Many good men were lost, and when they returned they faced the oppostion of the U.S civilians. Not only that, but most came back with drug addictions, mental problems, or both; like this guy.”

The doctor walked over to his patient who was once again shaking and convulsing, suffering from heroin withdrawal.

    I am not really sure about which drug is easy to grow in Vietnam because of its weather. I think it is heroin, but if anyone knows different, I would apprciate if you would tell me to I can change it. Thanx, hope you like my ficlet!
