So here’s the thing. I haven’t done a challange in a while so I figured why not? AND this ficlet will be numero 140!
Oh yeah.
Well lately I have been obsessed with the glorious book Twilight and that is my challange topic.
You must use a phrase from Twilight (or New Moon or Eclipse) and fit it into the story. If you haven’t read the books yet (you really really should!) here are somethat you can use:
_{And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.}The hunter smiled in a friendly way as he sauntered forward to kill me.

These are only a few, you can use any that you wan’t and you can put it anywhere.

Great challenge. However, I will be hiding out with OrangeOreos after stating my opinion :). The series was okay, but nothing worth the grand attention it is getting. I really don’t understand where that is coming from. I remember the first time I picked up the book (and put it back down) something I rarely do with that genre. My suggestion is Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy followed up with Frostbite. ;) But, with only 14 working days until summer break, and a great challenge laid out, I’m in. :D

Laine, I’m rather upset by all the cast. The only thing I’m hoping for is good make-up artists! =) For those of you who havn’t read this read it! I absolutly love this book. I kinda understand that some people don’t like it.. but I think lifeless is right and Stephanie hid drugs in her pages. I couldn’t put those books down if I had them pulled ou of my hands! =) Great challenge.. if I wasn’t so busy I’d enter.

I love the Twilight series so so much! I can’t wait for the movie, but I don’t like the cast either. I pictured them all different in my mind. Anyway, I’ll probably do this awesome challenge because of Twilight. Great idea Sailor Emo!

Hi ya’all I’m new here. My name is sy and I’m still figuring out the rules, so bear with me please.

I bought all three books and as soon as I was done reading, I started the series all over again. Good stuff! I too am disappointed in the players for the movie. These people are supposed to be beyond beautiful, except for Bella, who’s human and supposedly NOT as beautiful as the vampires and somehow, I think they are falling way short of the beauty factor. Hopefully they’ll make up for it in acting.

I love the challenge so much, I want to enter again!

I wish I could say the same about the books. I mean, I really, really liked them, but there just wasn’t the pizazz I was hoping for. I thought Bella was a little too… I don’t know… dependent and blah. The story is fantastic, it’s just her :(
