We all took honorary sips of our cokes, except for Blair, who wouldn’t drink soda because it has phosphoric acid and high-fructose corn-syrup, so she had water.
Nick J had his arms wrapped tight around Amanda, and it seemed like he wasn’t ever gonna let her go, and he probably wasn’t.
Just then, Amanda got a text message. The sent number was 0-000-000-0000. she read it, and her normally tan face grew pale. “Nick, read this,” she said. she gave him the phone, and he seemed rather shocked too. The message read:
Tell the bushkid to watch out. You are gonna be mine. Whatever it takes.
Kevin immediately called for the check and we headed back to the hotel, Mo taking extra care to look after Nick J.
When we girls entered our room, there was a note on the pillow of one of the beds. It said:
Amanda;
Tomorrow. Central Park. 1:00 p.m. I’ll prove it.
