It would validate all that he had been doing, all he had sacrificed socially and financially- and more importantly it would finally bring him much needed answers. Answers stronger than simple thoughts or assumptions, that worked within his mind but had no proof of being true.

He felt silly with his hands finger deep in chalked lines, crumpling the edges of the textured paper, and he was ready to admit failure… but then it started.
