    I thought telling Angela was the most difficult part of the story up until this point, so it took me two ficlets to do. And I still had to cut it shorter than I wanted. I suppose Phil could follow her up the stairs or something, but that’s for you guys to decide.
    I think the humor that you guys have been infusing is great, and I felt it would be easier to do if we removed the familial threat, but that’s what collaborations are for.

    I agree with you 100%, thanks to this we avoid painting ourselves into a corner by focusing too much on the family side of things.

    Angela’s reaction feels very real and Phil seems quite genuine as well.

    I loved this line as a sort of justification for his actions, considering it’s an evil corporation and all the crud he’s gotten himself into: “I really thought it would be different this time. They’ve unionized and everything.” Great way of getting the family out of the way for the time being.
