The council has already decided this. Gluntub, you’re going to be in the hang glider and drop rocks…

“Bekah? Funto guj? Oput hub.”
Hang on, what? You want me flying through the air while blasters are going off everywhere? I don’t think so.

“Zozu, harek fo!”
That’s your assignment, soldier!

“Binto, mochub uuk.”
Man, why didn’t we just eat those Rebels last night, I was on board with that plan.

    I know that tbs is going to LOVE this entry, since he’s apparently a major Star Wars fan. This was hilarious, especially the last bit about the closed captioning. I’ll never be able to see the Ewoks as just cute and fuzzy bears who speak funny anymore. :p

    Hilarious. Some soldiers just don’t understand duty and honor. I loved the line about being on board with eating the people the night before.

    When did you write this? I just stumbled across it. And, of course, Ana’s right. I think my favorite line was: “Gutoy chu baf. Gluntub, unto huka…”
    The council has already decided this. Gluntub, you’re going to be in the hang glider and drop rocks…     That one made me laugh. And the close captioning thing was quite a delight.

    Wrote it just this morning, couple hours ago.

    I’m glad you enjoyed it. After reading some of your work I settled on the source material quite easily. I just thought, “What is one of the most absurd concepts in all of Star Wars”? Battle of Endor, hands down.

    I suspect Leia convinced them all to fight with the promise of more of those candy bars she gave Wickett. The translation of their battlecry actually means “For chocolate!” in Ewokese.

    I love the idea of ewoks eating people. I always thought those deep black eyes belonged to something sinister. And those mouths, perfect for ripping flesh.

    My little brother had the Ewok Village when we were growing up. I’m fairly certain he acted out this play.
