They each turned in surprise when a fourth visitor to the beach fired a shot into the air. “Let go of the gorilla and raise your hands to the sky,” Garth Galaxy commanded.

“What is it with you interstellar bounty hunters? She is an APE ! Although, I do rather enjoy the term monkey-love,” Dr. Munroe admitted with a chuckle as the bounty hunters started bickering. “It’s so saucy.”

“What are you doing here, Garth?” Stella asked her ex-boyfriend. “I can take care of myself.”

“You weren’t bringing in the desired results, so S.A.F.E. outsourced,” Garth said, smugly. “Why are you so put out to see me? I thought it’d be like old times.”

“Like the time you stole my bounty? Or the time you disappeared for three weeks with that slut Marcie?”

“It was business and you know it.”

Dr. Munroe puffed on his opium pipe as his captors bickered. It won’t be long, he thought to himself. Moments later, a hoard of flying apes landed on the beach and set up a perimeter.

“So nice of you to join the party,” he said.

    Loved the whole series although some figures of speech aren’t consistent . Maybe I’ll come up with a sequel.

    The absurdity continues. I had no idea it would lead to this. Nice job salvaging the monkey-love line.

    wow the flying monkey’s return, her ex BF, crowded beach. thnx for useing the moneky-love line,i couldn’t resist using it cracked me up when I typed it., sorry if it did’t fit with the Docs obsession, but thanks for the save.
