Ficlets

Ally fiddled with the steering colomn for a while trying to figure out how to get it to work. She suddenly figured it out and got the car started. “John come on! Lets get out of here!”
John turned around and ran to the car, quickly getting in when he saw the figures getting closer. “Go!”
Ally quickly sped off. “How do they keep finding us? And why are they after us?”
John shook his head. “I wish I knew, Ally, but for now we’re going to have to keep running. They killed our families so they will most deffinately kill us if they catch us.”
A tear rolled down Ally’s face when John mentioned their families. John climbed up in the front passenger’s seat and wiped it away from her eye. “John, I’m scared.”
“So am I, Ally, but we have to do our best to be brave right now. Pull over and switch places with me. You need your sleep.”
Ally pulled over and they switched places. Just before John started driving he saw the three shadows walking towards the car and he sped off once more.
