James leaves Theresa’s street. He pulls on to the main road and eventually will be back on the highway. On his way home he is thinking about the visit. Mostly about the conversation with Theresa

After a while, he feels relieved that she felt the same way. He is glad that he came here to confess to her, how he still feels. He feels at peace now, knowing that they are back together. He can’t for the life of him remember what broke them up the first time. But now, it doesn’t matter. They are back together now, that is what matters the most. He realizes that he has loved her this whole time. And now that they are back together, His life can start feeling fufilled again.

As James gets closer to the city, he starts thinking about the summer, and what he would like to do. All his aspirations and goals. Mentally he begins to plan golfing outings with Chris and Fishing trips with Derek. Even, maybe getting together with some old fraternity buddies. All these thoughts make him feel relaxed and comfortable.
