I’ve given up on my search party. I’ve gone out on my own, considering the fact that the men in Adendia are complete perverts and will drool at the sight of a woman in a skimpy outfit. So I put on my skimpiest and set out.

“Joshua Curtis, I’m gonna kill you when I get ahold of you,” I muttered. “You’re lucky I’m not leaving you out there to die.”

And this is true. Had it been anyone else, I’d have left them. But this one is important. He’s going to help me in the resistance. He’s the second most important one in the movement! I can’t let him die.

I stopped just in time to catch the torn beige pants disappear into a cave.
