How Far We've Come {Life Soundtrack Challenge}

My soundtrack began the night I was born, October 14, 1972. The heavens opened up and angelic voices rang out with, “She’s going to change world.” Well, maybe not really. But, I like to imagine it happened that way.

There are many things that I can honestly say, “I can’t remember.” There are many other things that I would rather forget. “Do you have the time to listen to me whine, about nothing and everything all at once?“

Moving along, because days come and go, life comes at us, ready or not. We get some rules to follow, that and this, these and those. But no one knows.

Now, I find myself right smack in the middle of my thirties and I sometimes think “I can’t take this anymore and I’m almost pretty sure, I’ve been here before.” But I know with certainty, the past is gone. It went by, like dusk to dawn. Isn’t that the way everybody’s got their dues in life to pay. I know nobody knows where it comes and where it goes I know it’s everybody’s sin you’ve got to lose to know how to win. ;)

    Indeed. Great song choices, and using them in the narrative rather than just giving a simple list was very well done.

    from the title i like, gasped, out loud, and i started singing to myself “Let’s see how far we’ve come…” gaudd i love that song.
    but anyway, i too thought it was unique how u intertwined the lyrics with the story.

    I liked the idea of angelic voices. I think that there were voices when I was born, but I would like to imagine that they were robots or something, and not the doctor saying “Gawd! look at this ugly child! Who is going to tell the mother?” :-D
