Ficlets

Darkness was closing around me and I saw nothing heard nothing. This odd red liquid running down my shirt, it felt of pain. I looked up into the shadows and glimpsed at my attacker. He watched me dying. The coldness began to sweep over me. With the last ounce of strength I had I brought up my gun and shot him.

Revenge.

Then I lay down and let the numbness sweep over me like a wave. I would die, but it was nothing less than I deserved. I looked into the sky and then my eye’s closed.

I had brought this on my self. Oh, I had brought this on myself.
