Lord knows this world is cruel.
I can’t tell if this is truth or dream.
No, this is real. As real as it gets.
But I’ll never give in.
So just fake it.

My eyes burn from all of these tears
You’d think Id learn from all these years.
Oh, handout, faces that he sees time again ain’t that familiar.
Life…life again…
I’m gonna fight ‘em off.
They’re going to rip it off.
But now it’s time to open all the doors and let you out into this world.
We’ve all left the den.

    If I’m not mistaken, this is much more than 7 songs. It seems like it’s one line per song. I think I recognize a few of them, Lose Yourself Eminem, Fight For Your Right Beastie Boys, Blue Monday New Order, Fake It Seether. That’s about it off-hand.
    I do like what you’ve done here, and it does flow very well.

    I obviously did mine differently. 1.) Mines in poem form and 2.) I used about 13 songs. For the record, the directions say MINIMUM 7 songs, but hey, I’m really happy with how this turned out. Hope you like it!
