Night Walk [[Ideal First Date Challenge]]

We’re walking, sand swifting between our toes. This is not nesesscarily a date, but I thin we’re both wishing it was. Honey-roasted peanuts were surprisingly filling our stomachs from our poker game with your sister, mom and dad and my dad. I won. We all had traveled across the street to the beach. Your sister had long abandoned us to the bar where our parents were. So we were walking. The trucks who scanned the beach were stalking the shores. We walked, our footprints in the perfectly flat lines left by said trucks. I want to hold your hand so badly, so I try to hint it. I nudge your hand with mine. But you’re a boy; oblivious. We climb to the the top of a lifeguard’s chair. Next to me, I look at you face. Looking at the distance. I want to lean up and gently kiss your lips. Once we climb down, we lay on the sand.We talk about professional wrestling, of all things. The randomness descibes us, however. I’m in love with you, totally and completely. More love than I have ever felt, really. This is perfection.

    Btw, like the story it wasn’t really a date. But it was very romantic so I kind of consider it one. He just doesn’t know it ; )
