People say that life is hard
But someone always has it worse
See, most of them aren’t retards
And none are in a hearse.

But they continue to whine
As they sit in their rooms and say this.
All they’re doing is wasting time
Sittin’ and complainin’.

They’re not in the hospital
They’re not completely without friends.
They just have trouble seeing
The good things that life lends.

When all you stupid kids slit your wrists
You have hospitals to go to.
Kids in Darfur don’t have this
And they are happier than you.

See? Not all poetry
Has to be depressing.
I write mine to get rid of
All the stuff I’ve been repressing.
