Amanda looked back at him.
“So.. this means.. so you are.. well that explains..” Amanda rambled on in her incomplete thoughts.
“Yes,” replied Charlie.
Amanda’s eyes grew wide. And, just like the first time she saw Nick Jonas, she fainted.
“OH MY GOD ! OH MY GOD !” I frantically yelled, “You just had to tell her, didn’t you, Charlie?!”
“Yes,” he replied again, scooping her up in his muscular arms. “I assume we shouldn’t go back to your house like this, with bushkid there. Where..”
“Nick’s,” I interrupted.
Charlie gave me a confused look.
“Nick Noodle. The other bushkid,” I explained, “He lives really close. We can just go to his house. It’s like my second home. They won’t care.”
Charlie sighed. Samantha put me on her back.
“It’ll be faster like this,” she said, before taking off into a run. They ran so fast, that they probably couldn’t even be seen, which would explain the lack of people staring. In moments, we were there.
