Dearest Ficlets Father,

I will miss you. I really can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said, but I will say what’s been said.

The Ficlets Stepfather isn’t gonna be another you. They’ll try to be, but they won’t. You’re Kevin! There’s no replacing you.

I’m not gonna lie. I almost started tearing up when I read you were leaving. But I was happy for you. You got a job! A real, substantial job. More than some of us can say. Even if they’re over 18.

You will be sorely missed by all, I’m sure. Even Kitty Pom-Pom, who barely knows you.
