I am alone
Even when you’re around
Dreaming doesn’t help me much
Hurt is all I’ve found

Driving down the deserted highway
Yearning for You
Under the promise of what we had
Denying the truth

Harsh sun
Never stands still
Love is tainted
Drowning in pain so real

Living the nightmare
Even when I’m awake
Even if it was all a dream
My heart still aches.
