She’s so fragile
And easily broken.
She uses her ego
To stay out of the open.

She shields her heart
Behind her pride
But now the hole in her heart
Is opening wide.

Its falling apart
And breaking down
But you can barely see the pain
Through her slight frown.

She’s so used to hiding
She doesn’t know we can see
That everything she did
Is making her what she is going to be.

She’s confused
And doesn’t know where to turn
Her heart once was on fire for a boy
But now he left her with just a burn.

The want to want him
Is just too much
I think she’d be happy
Just to have his touch

Now she has you
And she is falling faster everyday
I think that she loves
That you don’t want to go away.

So now she is letting him go
Way too slowly it seems
But I think you should know
That girl is me.

    Beautiful poem to match a beautiful picture. Very well written and expressive. I love your choice of words. it rhymes without being over done and cheezy. I hope this gets featured!

    ya, i agree. its not as cheesy as the usual rhymey poem. it sounds sort of like a song to me. its really beautiful.
