Emily quickly tosses the “plastic ball of death” into the bathroom sink and closes the door. Both stare at the door waiting for something, anything.

Nothing.

Emily in panic mode.
“Dana I’m so sorry! We need to get you to a different room, maybe a different hospital.”
Dana argees, as she does a noise comes from the bathroom. Emily begins to shake, Dana’s eyes begin to water. This is it, the waiting is over. What ever was meant to happen is going to happen right now. The noise gets louder, for moment and then it stops.

Emily walks over to the door to investigate. Slowly to the door.Before she gets to the door it opens, just a crack. Her arm extends to to push the door open, before she does it swings open with great force. A man is seen with an evil grin.
He stares at Emily. She can not move or scream.
In a whisper the man speaks.
“Emily! It’s time.”

    Ooh, crazy circumstances and not what I think anyone expected. Not sure I’m a fan of switching to present tense, and a few typos, but what the heck, it’s a work in progress, right.
