“This is going to go down one of two ways,” Krystle said. “Either the easy way or the hard way… either way you’re coming with us.”

Did she just hiss when she said that? Alex thought. She looked like she had just stepped off the set of Olivia Newton John’s “Physical” video. White leg warmers scrunched down to the top of her hightop Reebok trainers, white headband and a white Members Only jacket over her leotards.

Jessica smiled a wicked smile, pulled the Caterpillar’s broom from behind her back and snapped the head off of it with one swift strike of her foot.

The broom handle made a loud whooshing sound as it arced over her head to swing behind her back, she went down on one knee, then motioned to Krystle to come with her free hand. “So come on baby, make a move on me,” she said.

Krystle smiled back and pulled a set of nunchucks from inside her jacket. She did her best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle move. “Let’s get physical!” She screamed back.

“I wanna get Physical!” Then she charged Jessica.

    Ok Jen… I just had to go here, you gave me such a lovely setup. BTW , the lyrics of two different Olivia Newton John song’s are in this Ficlet.
    Trivia question: What are the lyrics and what songs?
    No cheating by looking them up on the internet.
    Oh and yes, guilty pleasure… I was listing to the songs when I wrote this.

    Well, “Physical” is one of them, but I don’t know any other songs by her.
    Should be “set of the Olivia Newton John’s ‘Physical’ video.” Strike out the “the.”
    Other than that, another good entry. I like how you described them setting up to fight. Very well done.

    Love that you took up the legwarmers. I so wanted to add that, but didn’t want to write the next installment. ALSO , found an interesting martial arts “thingy” called hapkido which will go perfectly with the descriptions you added.
    .

    BTW , glad to hear it isn’t just me having issues with the ratings. I’ve been having trouble with comments too.
