Alex in Wonderland- Part 33

Everyone in the hallway looked at her as if she’d suddenly sprouted extra limbs.

“Excuse me?” Jessica snarled, pushing Krystle hard as she got up. “No one is wiping anything that has to do with my head!”

Alex was in the middle of his own tirade, “What other memories do you think they’d wipe out with this? You’d trust them to only isolate the last couple hours?”

Amanda placed herself between Becky and their advancing pair of irate acquaintances. “Chill.. Out!” She screeched. Then she took a deep breath and tried to make herself appear larger, “I am with Becky.”

Disgustedly, Jessica and Alex turned their backs to Amanda and Becky to look at the agents.

Alex announced, “Looks like it’s a stand-off.”

White Rabbit smiled, as if anyone could have missed the confrontation, “What shall we do? Time is running short.”

Alex shrugged and glanced to Jessica, who shrugged back at him.

“Let me make this somewhat easier,” Rabbit took two steps, “Mad Hatter may be in need of two agents.”

    No, it’s a trap!
    This, “You think they will isolate they last couple of hours only?” needs a “the” instead of the second “they.” Although, I’d rewrite it entirely to “You’d trust them to only isolate the last couple hours?”

    Wow Jen… I really didn’t see that last part coming. Great Twist!
    And I agree with what John had to say as well.
    Must go think on this one… SO many new twists and turns. Hmmm, I might not have to be as hasty as I planned on putting this away soon. :)
