He took my hands. They were warm and mine. He looked into my eyes and smiled at me. I managed the faintest smile. Then he leaned in and his lips were just inches from mine. He stopped and I could hear him breathing. Then his lips touched mine. After a while he backed away just inches away from my face again. “Bella, no matter what happens in my life or your life I will always love you, and you cannot change that. One day I will come back for you.” He whispered. He made me smile the biggest I’d ever smiled and he made me wish that that night would never end. We spent as much time as possible together after that, and then he left. Every night was a flash back to the night in the park. The words he spoke in my ear ,”One day i will come back for you.” Replayed in my mind constantly. I loved this boy

    Very sweet with a consistent sort of rhythm to it. If I were to change anything, I’d connect the statement to the ‘He whispered’, making it ”...back for you,” he whispered.” Otherwise for a second they seem like separate things, like he said it then whispered something else. But your way kind of works too, with the meter and rhythm you have over all. Eh, just food for thought.
