Ashley blinked a few times and tried squinting to see if she really was looking at Cameron. The squinting helped, she realized it was her cousin Jordan, not Cameron.
A few minutes later, Ashley could have sworn she saw Cameron again. She did the whole blink and squint thing again, and yet again, realized it wasn’t him.
This happened 3 or 4 times during the wedding. Ashley decided as soon as she got home she was going to go get her eyes checked. Then again, she wasn’t sure if seeing Cameron everywhere had something to do with her eyes or her heart.
After a couple of hours the wedding was over. Everyone started to shuffle out of the chapel and relocate to the banquet hall down the street. Ashley’s brother and his new wife were the first to leave. As Ashley watched them walk out, she couldn’t help but notice how happy they both were around each other. The weird thing? She could see herself and Cameron taking their place, and she had only known Cameron for about a day.
