Becca's Dream

Becca was dreaming. She dreamed that she was in a large white room. For some reason, she was standing on a pedestal. People kept staring up at her and pointing, talking about her as though she wasn’t in the same room.

“Is that Becca Schaefer? Isn’t that the girl who ended up alone?”

“They say she’s only good for one-night-stands. No guy would want her beyond one night!”

“I heard that she drove one guy who actually liked her so insane, he went and started dating some Indian girl!”

“Did you notice the gap in between her front teeth? It’s the size of the Grand Canyon!”

“I wonder what Jameson ever saw in her.”

Becca struggled to come down from her pedestal, opening her mouth to defend herself, but she found she was unable to move or speak.

Then the dream took a bizarre and truly terrifying turn.

Sassy appeared, her eyes literally shooting fire. “Don’t talk that way about my lover, Becca!”

Becca woke up hysterically crying, and she shook Paul awake, shouting, “Tell me I’m better than a one-night-stand!”

    Oh, my. Poor Becca. I think I feel sorry for her again. What a nightmare, especially with Sassy popping with those fiery eyes. I wonder how the lady’s man will respond.

    omg I’ve had a dream similar to that. Thats crazy weird. Hope she doesn’t wake up Paul.

    I guess that fits again with her insecurity. I still don’t feel sorry for her though. I have steeled myself against it.

    dreamed must have seemed so real to her.. a certain sadness comes out in her, loneliness.

    Personally, I think Becca deserves to have a dream like that. She was terrible to poor Jameson.
