Ah.. the first day of summer. So relaxing and calming. And the perfect time for a challenge, wouldn’t you agree?

So here’s what I was thinking:

Write a short series. Easy write? Well here’s the twist. The story that is sequeled to this ficlet must be the ending.

So in short:

- write a short series ((or cram it into one ficlet))

- the ending must be sequeled to this ficlet.

- but make the ending interesting enough that everyone wants to know why what happened happened!

- Judging will be sometime.. so keep entering please!!

So in honor of the first days of summer ((for some of us)) and my 260th ficlet, I bid you good luck!

    Interesting challenge. My problem is that endings are the hardest thing for me to write. I guess this would be good practice then.

    I entered. I’m going to plan to write one more in the series, possibly two that will help explain exactly what’s going on. But I think it’s off to an ok start so far.

    I am so sorry. It wound up being much more than 3 fics. Sometimes the story decides when it’s over, not you. :\
    But on the bright side, I really enjoyed entering this challenge! I wrote darker than I normally do, so it was an interesting change of pace.

    Ok, I’m finally finished. This was incredibly fun to do. It took a different turn than I had originally anticipated, but I think it turned out pretty well. Hope you like it.

    There, I put a response…just two ficlets long, and it’s nothing to compare with these great stories all you guys have put up…but there it is!

    Great challenge, btw!
