“I found out I had Leukemia, the week of my 19th birthday. I am still have a hard time accepting it.” Lori claimed.

“I just found out last week. I will be 19 in 4 months. Finding out that you have leukemia sucks. I never thought something like this would happen to me.”

“Neither did I. So far my treatments have been going well, but I have only been on them for two months. All the doctors say I should start going bald within the next 3 months. So Scarlet, I think we should get along great.”

The girls laughed and talked the rest of the night both happy to have someone to confide their deepest fears in.
