“Nah, that’s ok,” Izzy said, pulling Ty up by his hand.”We’ll just go to my room.”
As they left, closing the door behind them, Chris put the DVD into their DVD player and pressed the play button.
“So are they dating?” Rachel asked as the credits began to play on a yellow backdrop.
“I don’t know.I hope so.They both like each other, and honestly, Izzy would be really good for Ty. He needs a steady girlfriend. But I’m kinda worried about what effect dating Ty would have on Izzy.”
“Why?”
“Well…he’s not the most studious guy. Izzy studies a ton, and gets good grades. I’m kinda worried that Izzy’s grades’ll go down cuz of Ty, you know?” he said, looking over at her.
“Yeah, I get it.But then again, you never know.Maybe Izzy will bring Ty’s grades up.”
“Yeah, hopefully.Now, we have to be quiet during the movie. And that is a rule,” he said,smirking at her and taking her hand again.
That was fine by her.She was so delighted to have his hand back,she didn’t think she could have spoken anyway.
