Creon was a very pallid and maladroit boy though he was not flippant at all. He was actually very respectful. He used m’am and sir, please and thank you. Despite this his parents were extremely pretentious and told him an exorbitant amount of lies about how stupid he was and how amazing they were. This caused him to have a great deal of animosity towards his mother and father.
