“Mmm…” I rubbed my hand in anticipation as the pizza was set before us. Jamie had ordered half plain, and I ordered half meatballs. “Have you ever had pizza from here?”, I asked her, She shook her head. “No.” I smiled, “Then you’re in for a treat. It’s delicious.”

I watched as she picked the thin-crusted pizza off the plate. She looked at me, narrowing her eyes as she noticed me watching. Then she took a bite.

Her eyes got really wide and she started to reach for the water. Her face was red and I handed her a napkin. After she took a big swig and wipe her mouth she announced what she thought. “That,” she said pointing at the pizza. “Is hot.” I smiled. Again.

As I picked mine up, I was sure to blow on it to cool it off. “But it was good right?” She shrugged. “I don’t know,” then she grinned. “I didn’t really get to really taste it.” Then she picked i up again, coling it off first. I watched as she put it in her mouth. She closed her eyes.

“Mmmm…”

    Cute interaction and shared moment. Kind of an odd split having ‘Have’ separate from the rest of the question though.
