“Hey how are you feeling?” Vann asked. “Lousy,” Courtney said weakly. “feels like I’ve been hit by a train, what happened after he kicked my head?” She said, “You shouldn’t have come back.” attempting to get up, only to be pushed back down by Sierra, “Shut up, cus we did, now you need your rest.” “Shouldn’t we get going? You know, before he wakes up and sends people to look for us?” Whitney said slowly. “Ya, I think so, Vann, want to take turns carrying her since she can’t walk?” Aaron asked. But before Vann could respond, Courtney interrupted, “Nah I can walk, give me some room guys” They all backed off, Courtney struggled to get up, halfway into sitting position she winced and grabbed her leg. “OK, maybe not, just leave me.” she said in a strained voice. “We’re not leaving you so shut it. I’ll take her right now,” said Vann, rolling his eyes. “OK, lets go now, we’ve got a long way to go.” Said Sierra with a sigh. Vann picked Courtney up, and off they went, but they didn’t get very far.
