The day passed fairly uneventfully. You know, aside from the incredulous stares and insulting questions that seemed to come from everywhere. I truly doubted if I hadn’t been asked to confirm by every student in the school that yes, Jesse and I were currently ‘dating.’ I was pretty sure they’d gone and asked him too, to doubly confirm it.
Ok, maybe not everyone. But a large enough amount of people as too annoy me exceedingly. And everyone was discussing it. Even as ‘that-emo-girl-freak’ I’d never been looked at this much. It was unsettling.
At least there were no other confrontations as dramatic as Brit’s. I’d been worried, after that scene, that I’d never live through this day. But it had passed tolerably well… all things considered.
Jesse had faithfully never left my side, so I only had to face the probing questions alone when I was in a class besides math. Even at lunch, he sat with me. We sat alone, though. I couldn’t stand his friends (he was annoyed with them too) and I was still avoiding Shyam.

I came up with the penname Dreamer from a fantasy story I used to tell my friends. ‘Dreamer’ was a character based off of me that could make characters in books and movies come to life. Yeah, I know, I wish.

(I might add that this study is almost completely wack. They did get one thing kind of sort of right- that aggression is in the forehead… but, um, so is your personality, so when they cut that part of people’s brains out [if they were too aggressive in jail] then the people became like living zombies with no personality. creepy.)
