The girl stood in the hallway, tapping her foot nervously as her eyes flickered up and down the hall. She was quietly singing the song her mother used to sing her as a baby under breath to calm herself.

“Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life“

“Remus!”Running up the hall came Sarah, waving crazily.

“Oh hey!” The girl said.

“I can’t believe we both got into the University of Akron!” Sarah said happily! “We’re gonna be the class of 1994 baby!

“Yep, if we survive!” She said.

“Hey, how’s Madison, I heard she was sick?”

“Oh, little squeeky, fine! Just a fever. Its the seventh time!” The girl said.

“Ouch. Oh, here! I have Anansi Boys for you! I swear you will like it more than Star Trek!” Sarah said, handing her the book.

“Thank you so much!” The girl said.

“Summer Lynn!” A voice from behind the door said.

“Oh gosh…” Summer said.

” Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll be the best in the whole college band!” Sarah said.

    Interesting, how you weave the clues in here. Some of them I think I know. Squeeky was a pet? DOB is 1994? Fave song is Blackbird and 7 is a favorite number. Not sure about the rest.

    Is your favorite song “Boyz N The Hood?” Or is it just me who hears that version whenever this song comes up? Stupid Dynamite Hack, making me loco.

    I meant it to be the version by the Beatles. I forgot there was so many versions when I wrote it! And you got all of those right!
