We pulled up in the school’s driveway and Massey and I got out of the car.
“Are you sure the meetings are held here at the school?” Massey asked. I nodded.
“Sadly, yes,”. We walked into the cafeteria and I started to look around. All the little boys were dressed in uniforms. They weren’t as bad as I expected. Too bad there weren’t any boys I actually knew.
“Oh dear god,” said Massey as she started to giggle.
“What?”
“Look!” She pointed over to the doorway. It was a bunch of boys in uniform that we actually knew. My jaw dropped.
“This is rich!” I said as we started to laugh. I’m sure they were all proud to be boy scouts but I was positive they were not proud to be in those uniforms.
“Look!” said Massey. “I can name all of them,”. I nodded.
“Robert, Blake, Greg, Justin, Jett, and Jason,”. I kept on laughing. What? Was I supposed to stop laughing because one of them was the guy I liked? Well, was going to like. I had no clue that I would find the one I would fall for at a Boyscout meeting. So, I laughed.
