It was Friday night once again, and this time, I was actually looking forward to the boy scout meeting. I mean, the uniforms weren’t that bad. The phone rang as I was half way out the door. What do you know? It was Massey.
“Hello?” I answered.
“Can I come? Can I come? Jason’s gonna be there!”
“Yeah. I know.”
“Wait, so you don’t like him?” If I had to give you a definition of Massey, it would be best friend. You tell your best friend everything. So, my first thought was to tell her I like him and to keep her mouth shut. But, the words would not leave my mouth.
“Jess? You there?”
“Yeah,”.
“So do you like him?”
“YES!”
“So can I come?” Again, here it goes.
Massey = BF. You tell your BF everything.
But, Secrets + Crushes + Boys + Best Friends = Ummm…....

    i like how you added the math equation. it really helps to portray the confusuion. once again massey displays her…. inability to respond normally to her bf’s feelings.
