Peripheral Evil: Part 4, True Vision

by Jenunique

I grew up seeing them out of the corners of my eyes. We all do, we just don’t acknowledge them. We blame it on a trick of the light or a shadowy “slight of hand.”

I know at one time or another you’ve either:

A: Thought to yourself, “What the hell was that?” as you turn your head quickly to the right, or left, trying to see whatever just zipped past you.

Or,

B: Said to someone else, “What the hell was that?” as you point to the right, or left, trying to make out a shadowy figure you thought was there but now, somehow isn’t.

Let me assure you this; You aren’t crazy. But don’t try to convince anyone that there are creatures lurking in your peripheral. Been there, done that, sold the rights. All I got was a lousy t- shirt. And a major headache.

No, they’re there all right. Once you catch one with your “true vision” you will never see the same again. Trust me, you don’t want to go there.

They are everywhere. And not where you’d think. With their pointy grins and yellow knowing eyes, they’re watching.

I’m very interested to see where you’re going with this.
Should be, “as you turn your head,” and probably “yellow, knowing eyes.” Other than that, brilliant.

Oh, wow. What a freaky description. I hope I never see one full-on in my true vision.

Wow. I hope you continue this! It’s one of the creepiest things I’ve read anywhere.

I want to read more so much that it’s hard for me to comment. But it deserves it because this little series has been really wonderful so far.
