Best Supporting Character Challenge Results

First, let me apologize for taking forever to judge this. I’m currently in the middle of moving, so that’s my first excuse. Second, all the entries were awesome so it was really difficult to judge in the traditional sense. Therefore, I have created abritrary awards for my favorite characters.

The ‘Less Is More’ Award goes to Ana Cristina for the character Katherine, who is masterfully described as much by who she’s not as who she is.

The Scene Stealer Award goes to THX 0477 for the character Rutaffo the Super Ref. I only wish I had his Glowing Sphere of Fairness suspending me as I judged this challenge.

The Best Ensemble Cast Award goes to Mistress Elsha Hawk, who created several awesome supporting characters, all in one ficlet, and all without clogging the flow of the narrative.

And without further adieu: TBS ’s Best Supporting Character Award goes to Mad As A Hatter for the spoiled-milk eating, eyebrow wiggling character Bert, who made me smile consistently and therefore is the winner!
