Winners of the Scavenger Hunt Challenge!

This challenge was successful beyond my wildest expectations. At first I thought nobody would post an entry. I was delighted to receive the first few, as they were all top-notch. Then the few multiplied to many, many more (try 26!), and the weird part is that each and every entry thus far has been good.

So judging this challenge is no picnic. But I will give it a good attempt.

I’ve narrowed my favorites down to five:

In 5th place, A Walk with Timmy by BernerOberland.

In 4th place, Time Stamp by thebetweenspace.

In 3rd place, Official Business in a Treehouse by THX 0477 .

In 2nd place, Finish the Job by Melia.

And in 1st place, an entry with extremely well-hidden clues and a story so fantastic, you stop caring about the clues after the first sentence, Damn the Frozen Nuclear Torpedoes! by Eckhouse!

    Wow, I made it as a runner-up! If the three stories before mine get disqualified later for using performance enhancing drugs the gold is mine! Just kidding. I feel honored to be mentioned among those stories. I thought this was a fun challenge made even better by the quality stories that made me forget I was looking for clues. Great job everyone!

    The problem with losing this challenge is that the story was literally my life.
    Hard to disagree with your choices though, Eckhouse did have one excellent piece, and the win was well deserved.
    Congratulations on a successful challenge, and congrats to the winners.

    I am honored – though there wouldn’t have been a story without such a robust challenge in the first place, so kudos to you. And tbs will be happy to know that I’ve been doping since age 12, so climb on up to the podium, big guy!

    I have never taken performance enhancing drugs. In fact, I routinely take performance dampening drugs just to challenge myself. Thanks for the nod, Ana, and the little comment on my story to let me know to come check here for my official win status.

    Congrats to the winners… but now that ithe challenge is over, could one point out clue location &/or reveal answers if one wanted to?? Any means of response would be greatly appreciated…
