A Place That Nobody Knows

Blistered feet briskly trace a path
Grasping the clouds in blistered toes
Forging trails through the midday sky
To a place where nobody goes

Lying down for a moment to rest
Out of reach of sparrows and crows
Looking down at the world below
From this place that nobody knows

No heartache remains in my heart
Free from the sorrows and woes
Fondling smooth and blister free feet
On a cloud where nobody goes

Someday I’ll take you to a place
A place where nobody goes
We’ll nap on clouds in the sunlight
In a place that nobody knows
