“My darling, he started the League to get the Ficlets communtiy more invloved with each other. And what a wonderfull job he did!” I said gazing around at new and old members of the League chatting on couches or reading random bits from League members.

“Wow.. Sounds pretty cool. So what happened to all the stories everyone wrote?” Ally asked heading off into the next room.

Tears sprang to my eyes as I looked around the next room. The entire room was lined with book shelves filed with books.

“Grandma who wrote all these books?” Ally’s eyes had gone wide in wonderment.

“The memebers of the League did. When the internet was banned for good 15 years ago, a bunch of memebers got together and pulled strings to get all the series and stories published into a massive collection. This is the first time its been available to the general public scince 2060.” I answered her.

There were also comuters all around for new members to add their own stories to the ever growing collection.

“Can I write a story?”

Internet ban? In the future? Say it ain’t so! I like the nostalgic walk down memory lane leading to the youth of tomorrow being inspired to write stories of their own.

Great read! but I have to dock you one star for going longer than 1 ficlet in length. Rules are rules are rules.

well.. Ficlets isn’t really banned.. we just have to write and then print it out. we can still use word and such to write, just can’t post it on the internet. ya know?

We’d all stay in that library/museum forever, sharing and writing. I mean, since we’re internet rebels and all. I think it would be cool to collaborate face-to-face.

How very inspiring to think that idea of ficlets will be passed on for generations. No one can stop the LoA…even if they do ban the internet!
