I ran after him.
“Joey, come on! You’re being a jerk! It’s not like you don’t look at other girls! You really need to grow up!”
He was quiet for a second.
“Your right. I’m sorry. I guess I was a jerk.”
I smiled.
“Yea, you were, but thats ok, I guess.”
Joey was like that. Whenever he was sorry, I always forgave him. Just, like, that. I couldn’t help it. I was just like that with him. My best friend Sara called us “The Perfect Match”.
He kissed me on the cheek.
He took my hand, and led me to my locker.
