London – July 4th, 1859

Dr. Mallory, famous for his discovery of “Physik Particulate Matter” has recently been reported missing. Friends and colleagues have not seen him for more than three days.

Readers may remember several weeks ago that Dr. Mallory released his findings on the “Google-optho-meno-meter” – an engine built to calculate the probability of alternate worlds, and the viewing of artifacts from those supposed worlds.

Police say that Dr. Mallory’s opinions on the “Google-Engine” as it is becoming known could be responsible for his current disappearance, but they refuse to comment on whether they believe any foul play is involved.

Rumour at the College of Theoretical Physics has it that Dr. Mallory may have taken time away from London to visit Aero-Mechanis – a privatized flying city currently stationed over the North Atlantic.

More updates as the truth is discovered.

This is a story relating to a game I play called PMOG (passively multiplayer game).

It references ideas first built upon in a mission in PMOG , and furthers the story. If you’re interested in the whole narrative get PMOG from pmog.com and come back to the story to start the “mission”.

Hmm, I actually enjoyed, although I was a little thrown for a loop (I thought it was going to be a story set in the 1800s).
I liked the standoffish, computer feel to it.
