Runner-up: The Envelope by Evelyn – This one put a smile on my face, one of the few where the twist wasn’t something bad.

Winner: White Patent Shoes by Ana Cristina – Another who wins a lot, but she usually deserves it. Great imagery, and simply fantastic writing.

Creepy category:
Runner-up: Bad Day by Six Feet Under The Stars – Makes your skin crawl.

Winner: Love and Loss by Valley Fey/Pinprick – I love how twisted this was. Incredibly creepy.

Most twists:
Winner: White, Red & Black by PyroPunk 51 – Yes he already got a runner-up, but a special award for creating a series with multiple twists had to be done.

Overall Winner:
Runner-up: Love and Loss by Valley Fey/Pinprick – One of the creepiest things I’ve read in a long time.

Winner: Everybody’s Envy by Browncoatben – I just really enjoyed everything about this.

    congrats i loved this challenge all the entries reminded me of the twilight zone, and that was my fav show as a kid.

    Loved the idea of distinct genre-type catagories for winners. May have to do that on my next challenge.

    Thanks for the recognition. I really enjoyed both entering this challenge and reading the entries. I agree that “Everybody’s Envy” was the best entry and had the most unexpected twist. Good choice.

    @All…I’m so excited about this! I’m sure no literary agents are perusing the challenges looking for talent, but I have really come to enjoy this community. You are some of the most compelling, creative, and inspiring writers I’ve ever been exposed to. To be recognized with this win is a huge accomplishment.

    Now…I’m gonna go do a funky chicken dance in celebration.

    So…if I leave stars, am I complimenting John or pompously patting myself on the back? I shall leave this comment starless.
