Separate Opinions

Exactly. They say we’re all about freedom and liberty and justice, but how is it freedom if we’re not free to choose what we believe? How is it liberty? How is it justice?

Don’t take me the wrong way. I mean, everyone’s entitled to their own opinions, and not every single person is gonna have the same opinion as them.

You pick what to wear. You pick what you do. You sometimes even pick what your friends do. So why can’t you pick what you believe? It should be our choice what we want to believe in and no one should decide that for us! We’re our own person and we’re our own faith.

Completely true. Your parents pick your religion for you and just expect you to believe.

I agree. I have and will in the future be allowed to choose my own faith…and I’ve fashioned my beliefs on my own. I like to study religions of all sorts to see the similarities in them…but each, of course, has its undesirable points. Wonderful point to make!
