Promises, Hidden, Lies, and Forgiven

by Writer4Life00nj

Promises were made
And I thought you would never lie
You said if you broke a promise
The next thing you would do is die

Well right now your still here
But your lies broke my heart
I never should of believed you
I knew it from the start

I don’t want to be harsh
Or hurt you in any way
But when I make a promise
I try to keep the promises that I say

I have faith in you
But, I really don’t have trust
You told promises just to break them
And now I’m left in the dust

Why did I believe you?
Why did I let it slide?
You didn’t even apologize
And all you can do is hide

Hidden away in your lies
Forgive, I may not
Promises, there were few
But lies, there were a lot

So I’m just going to sit here
And hopefully you’ll learn
I may, just may forgive
But my trust you’ll have to earn

Of course I’ll always love you
Your the reason that I’m here
Even though I may get angry
I know you’ll always be near

At times we might not get along
We may just disagree
But I know we have each other forever
Just you, and me

To tell the truth, it actually wasn’t all about my crushes this time, it was about a personal experience…thanks for the comments though!
P.S.Certain guys do lie a lot, though!
