Approximately 9 months old, according to the Ficlets clock. it’s about the main character and an elderly man who never missed a sunrise in his life. It could be interpreted in many different ways, and I just took one of the winding paths.

I found this by reading one of the ficlets by Twisted Reality called One Giant Leap through the link John Perkins conveniently gave us.

I was thinking about sequeling that one for this awesome challenge, but then I read this one, and an idea just popped into my head.

It probably helped a little that one of the characters name’s was Ben (like a character on Lost!)

So I sequeled, and it turned out completely different than I had planned!

    Awesome. I just read both of those fics and enjoyed them thoroughly. I probably never would have read Twisted’s original story if it weren’t for you going back and sequeling it. This is exactly what I had hoped for when I crafted this challenge. Thank you so much for your entry. If you didn’t make Twisted’s day, you certainly made mine.
