Jack put his hands on her face & brushed away the tears with his thumbs.
“There’s no need to cry,” he smiled, “God is with us.”
Anna looked up at him with her eyes & tried to smile through her tears. Jack’s hand slid down underneath her chin as he tilted her head to look up at him. He leaned in & this kiss made Anna’s heart beat as fast as it had the first time, maybe even faster.

“So what is his name?” Jack asked sitting on the bed.
“Taylor, Taylor Lee Dunn.”
Jack didn’t ask about the last name.
“Did you carry him all the way here?” Jack asked suddenly in unbelief.
“No, he was awake for about 45 min.”
“How long were you gone? I only woke up about 10 min. before you got here.”
“I left around 2:30”
“You’ve been walking for nearly 3 hours?”
Anna smiled,” I’d walk 1000 for him.” She stroked Taylor’s hair. “I don’t know how I ever left him to begin with. I mean sure he’s Lance’s son too, but it doesn’t show in the least. Not in his face or his heart. Taylor is completely my child.”
